Woodvale Evaporation Ponds - Latest Information
Please note the latest video information regarding the rehabilition of the Bendigo mining sites, including the Woodvale Evaporation Facility (Ponds) by following the undermentioned link: click on "Play" icon when presented with the site.
The latest meeting between the community representatives and DEECA in early May 2024 indcated that the rehabilitation planning of the Woodvale Evaporation Facility was ongoing, initially for ponds 6 & 7 (The tiered area), with the remeinder not being considered until after 2027. It should be noted that the rehabilitation is dependant on government funding being available.
